“Are you taking new clients?”
I am currently accepting new Clients starting January 2024.
“Do you take insurance?”
I use Headway which at this time allows me to be in network with Cigna/Evernorth and Aetna. Headway is in the process of negotiating their work with UHC/Optum. In the interim until Headway has finalized their relationship with UHC/Optum, I am individually paneled with UHC/Optum. I am currently in the process of becoming credentialed with Anthem BCBS provide updates as this application has been approved. There are a lot of pros and cons for using insurance to cover mental health care. This link can provide you with a little more information.
“How much does it cost?”
Session cost varies upon the duration of the session. Please ask me about my sliding scale options!
45 min individual session - $100 private pay
60 min individual session - $135 private pay
60 min family session - $150 private pay
“What is your cancellation policy?”
I require at least 24 hours notice when canceling your session to avoid the late cancellation/no-show fee. The fee is 75% of your normal session cost. For reference, this would be $100 for a non sliding scale client. In addition, if a clients requests to reschedule an appointment within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time, the client will be be charged the late cancellation/no-show fee.
“When is your availability?”
In order to be as present for my family as possible, most of my timeslots are daytime sessions. My availability is currently Monday-Wednesday with limited evening timeslots available. Please note, I do my best to save these evening timeslots for my teen clients who are typically unavailable during the day due to being in school.
“Do you offer therapy in person or online?”
I offer both in person and Telehealth services. A telehealth link will be provided by me and the client must live in Missouri.
“Can you tell me a little more about the space?”
My office is located in a coworking space across the street from Ikea in St. Louis, City. The space is gender affirming and offers single stall bathrooms which are located on the 2nd floor of the building (down the hall from my office space). The concierge at the front desk will inform me when you arrive for your session and I will come and meet you in the lobby. Elevators are available to reach the 2nd floor of the building.
